AIOU is the only public sector institution in the country that, for the last many years, has been providing educational facilities to Pakistani citizens living abroad through the distance learning system.

Some of the programs have been upgraded as per the directives of Vice Chancellor Dr Shahid Siddiqui. Accordingly, an online learning system is being introduced which is compatible with international standards.

The programs being offered include Allisan-ul-Arabi (Basic Arabic Course), ‘Arabic Bool Chal’, Secondary School Certificate (Matric), Higher Secondary School Certificate ( FA), a bachelor degree and short-term courses.

Admission in these programs will start from 1st of August. Aspiring candidates would be able to download admission forms from the university’s official website.

The Pakistanis stationed abroad would be able to submit their admission forms along with the prescribed fee in foreign currency within the stipulated date. Last date of the admission will be September 5.
